SALINE COUNTY – Two people from Lincoln were injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. on Monday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chrysler PC Cruiser driven by Raman Gil Lago, 55, Lincoln, was southbound on Interstate 135, just south of Interstate 70.

The Chrysler rear-ended a 2009 Lincoln driven by Angela Therese Van Allen, 24, Bellville.

Gil Lago and a passenger Martha Gil, 52, Lincoln, were transported to Salina Regional Medical Center.

Van Allen and three passengers in the Lincoln were not injured. All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
