Julieann Rairdon, 66, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, January 06, 2016. She was born May 12, 1949 in Everett, WA.
She was self-employed as a CNA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Nancy; son, Shannon; brothers, Doug, Tim and Kevin; and granddaughter, Alyssa.
Survivors include her husband, Gary; son, Donavon and his fiancé and best friend Laurie; Sisters, Sherri, Trish and Tami; brother, Michael; ex-daughter in law, Tammy; one grandchild, Haley; friend; Marcy and many nieces and nephews.
Per Julieann’s request, cremation was chosen and there will be no services.

Tina Louise Bradley, 52, Minneapolis – Our little trooper passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Ottawa County Health Center after a long illness. She was born August 26, 1963 in Salina to Wiley “Tiny” and Marjorie (Baker) Bradley.
Tina grew up in Culver and was baptized at the Culver United Methodist Church where she also attended Sunday school before moving to Wells. She was a graduate of Salina South High School.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother Marge of the home; sisters Cindy and Becky both of Sedgwick; and many other relatives and friends. Tina is also survived by her little friends, Callie, Bobbi, Ivory, and Midnite; and other friends Bailey, Sam, Shirley, Max, Buddy, Shep, Lucy, and Taz.
Cremation was chosen and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center or the Tammy Walker Cancer Center and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.

Ernest W. “Ernie” Rojas, 60, of Salina, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, as he wished to be at home with his family and cousins. He was born March 30, 1955, in Salina to Ernest G. and Olivia (Vargas) Rojas.
He worked at Tony’s Pizza and Exline and as a security guard for Midwest Security. He was an American Legion son and was always there to help anyone in need.
Survivors include his mother, Olivia, sisters, Connie (Hershel) Hopper and Amelia Rojas (Eric White); nephews, Eric Hopper and James Hopper; and four great-nieces and -nephews, all of Salina.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has been chosen. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. There will be a celebration of life in the spring for family and friends.

Judith Ann Phillips, 60, of Salina, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. She was born June 28, 1955, in Ely, Nev., to Robert and Eunice (Newell) Hamel.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Harold Hamel; sister, Pamela Boden; and two nephews, Derek Hamel and Alex Berland.
Survivors include her husband, Danny; mother, Eunice; sister, Cindy Berland and husband Gilbert; two brothers, Dean Hamel and wife Cheryl and Bruce Hamel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at Cornerstone Community Church, 1045 E. Ash, Salina.

CECIL D. GRIDLEY, 65 died January 6, 2016 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. He was born on March 19, 1950 in Topeka, KS, the son of Forrest and Elnora (Cook) Gridley. Cecil was raised in Missouri before moving to Phoenix, AZ at age 14. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam war. Following the war, Cecil made his home in Kansas, Texas, California and Arizona. He married Sharon Nyman on January 17, 1986. They moved to rural Clifton in 1995. Cecil was currently working as a truck driver for Lippert Grain. Cecil was serving as interim pastor at the Church of the Brethren in Washington, KS. He enjoyed gardening, animals, church and visiting with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Max.

Helen Kvasnicka, the daughter of Joe Cherney and Anna (Havel) Cherney was born October 22, 1919 at Agenda, KS and passed away on January 5, 2016 at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, KS at the age of 96, years, 2 months, and 13 days.
Helen received her education at Agenda Grade School and High School for 12 years. She was united in marriage to Ernest Kvasnicka of Narka on October 4, 1939. They lived on a farm in the Narka Community, where Ernest and Helen enjoyed working on their farm for many years. Ernest preceded her in death on November 22, 2002 and Helen then made her home at the Grandview Apartments in Belleville, until moving to the Belleville Health Care Center.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; sisters Bessie Barton and husband Leonard and Pauline Marcotte and husband Edres.
Helen is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS, with Pastor Phil Goombi, officiating.
Interment will follow at the National Cemetery, rural Narka, KS.
Friends may call from One PM until 9 PM on Sunday, and after 9 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Narka Presbyterian Church.
