No one was hurt when a utility vehicle caught fire on a Saline County road Thursday afternoon.

Saline County Sheriff’s Captain Roger Soldan said two employees of the CW Ranch were north bound in the 5300 block of S. Halstead Road about 3:30 p.m., when they noticed the seats to the 2015 Polaris Ranger 900 XP were getting hot and discovered the vehicle was on fire.

Saline County Rural Fire District #2 was called and put out the fire. Loss is placed at $14,900.
