A Salina man tells police that someone damaged a front window to his home with a bb or pellet gun. Roger Miles, who lives in the 2100 block of Wesley, said the damage occurred between Monday and Tuesday afternoon. The damage has been estimated at $600.

A woman reports to police the theft of a ring and damage to a basement window that happened on October 31st of last year. Kimberly Beran said the ring is a gold wedding band with a diamond. Total loss and damage in the case has been estimated at $1,095.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who ran after beating on the door of a home of a woman in New Cambria. The woman ,who lives in a trailer in the 2100 block of N. Weaver Road, said she heard someone pounding or kicking the door about at 6:30 a.m. When she opened the door, the man ran, but not before the woman’s Schnauzer dog bit him on the arm. He is described as a white male, in his 20’s, about 6’1″, with blonde hair, wearing a plaid jacket, black pants, and gray and white tennis shoes.
