A trailer is reported stolen from a pawn shop. Surveillance video shows the 8′ x 5′ single axle trailer was taken from Bob’s Pawn Shop, 925 W. Lincoln, between 3:20 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The trailer, black in color, is valued at $1,200. A padlock valued at $15 was also damaged.

A laptop is reported stolen from a car parked at the Central Mall early Friday afternoon. The HP 5.6 laptop computer, owned by Aaron’s Rental, was taken from the car of Edwin Garcia-Castrillo during a short period of time during the noon hour. The value of the computer has been estimated at $800.

A woman reports the theft of a TV from her home between Thursday evening and Friday morning. There was no forced entry into the residence of Laura Tucker, who lives in the 100 block of S. 2nd. A 50″ LG TV, owned by Easy Home, was taken. Total loss has been placed at $900.

A Craigslist scam leaves a woman out several hundred dollars. The 19-year-old woman said she answered an ad on Craigslist for a house to rent on Birch Street. She was asked to send a $580 MoneyGram to Germansville, Pennsylvania . She sent the money, and after no further contact, found out she was scammed and made a report to police.

Several items were taken in a business burglary that occurred sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning. Someone forced their way into the backdoor of FeldKamp’s Furniture, 1930 S. 9th. Among items taken were a 47″ TV, $175 in cash, an 18-volt battery and battery charger, cordless drill, air compressor, 3-gift cards, digital camera, keys, and a gym bag. A company van that had three headboards inside was also taken, but later recovered near the intersection of 11th and Washington. Total ;oss and damage has been estimated at $1,385.
