SALINA, KS – Celebrated Kansas City chef Joe West (www.kusshikc.com) will bring his distinctive pop-up dining concept to the Salina Art Center’s Warehouse, 149 S. 4th, for “Heart to Art,” an evening of fine dining on Friday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required for this event and must be made by February 1. Seating is limited.

West began his career thirteen years ago working under James Beard Award-winning chefs Michael Smith and Debbie Gold at 40 Sardines in Overland Park, Kansas. A rising star in the culinary world, West has worked under five James Beard Award-winning chefs and four Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chefs. His pop-up concept, kusshi, is notable for its emphasis on good ingredients and techniques to provide a lighthearted dining experience.
