A counterfeit $20 bill was found in a business deposit. The bogus bill was discovered at Bennington State Bank on January 22nd in a deposit made by Rusty Leister.

Salina Police arrested a southwest Kansas man on a warrant for forgery and theft. 30-year-old Darrell Beachy is alleged to have stolen checks from a Hutchinson man, and wrote three checks at three Salina convenience stores totaling $217.50 on May 27, 2015. He was booked into the Saline County Jail on 6 counts of forgery and theft.
