After more than 15 years at their original location, Papa Murphy’s Pizza is moving.

Papa Murphy’s Multi-Unit Manager Aaron Hawks tells The Salina Post the “Take ‘N’ Bake” pizza restaurant will be moving from its present location at 2000 S. 9th, to the former Salina Quick Lube Plus building at 2365 S. 9th in front of the Salina Central Mall in about a month.

While no specific reason was given for the move, Hawks said the new location is a better spot. “There will be more business,” he said.

Hawks indicated there was no exact date set for the opening of the new location, but did say the move should take place around the beginning of March.

According to Saline County records, a permit was issued on February 1st for interior demolition of the existing Quick Lube building.

Papa Murphy’s has been operating at its original Salina location since opening on August 3, 2000.
