Salina Crime Report – February 22nd

1-16 crime report 2The Saline County Sheriff’s Office has taken a report concerning damage to street lights in Brookville. Saline County Sheriff’s Captain Roger Soldan said 9 street lights were shot out with what may have been a b-b gun. The damage occurred between December 25th and February 19th. Total damage has been estimated $3,600.

A Salina man reported the theft of two handguns from his garage during a two hour period on Friday. William Ash tells police a .357 Colt revolver and a Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun were taken between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. from the garage at his home in the 600 block of E. Republic. Total loss has been placed at $700.

A 2′ x 6′ double pane glass was shattered at B & K Prescription, 601 E. Iron, sometime between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday evening. Total damage has been estimated at $500.
