SHERMAN COUNTY – Law enforcement authorities in Sherman County are investigating an alleged theft of animals in northwest Kansas.

The Sherman County Sheriff asked the public to keep an eye on 4-H animals after reports of thefts of goats, baby goats and a calf shot in the surrounding areas.

A vehicle was also seen in the area around the time of the theft, according to the sheriff’s office.

The vehicle is described as a newer, possible 4 door lighter blue with a grey or silver on bottom of cab, long box Dodge or Chevy pickup.

The sheriff’s office reminded residents to take a photo if they see a suspicious vehicle.
