A Salina woman has reported the theft of a trailer to police. Dortha Pace said the 18′ flatbed trailer, black in color, was taken between sometime between midnight Monday and 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. The trailer is valued at $2,000.

Menards is the victim of a fraud. On December 12th, a Whirlpool washer, dryer, and dishwasher were purchased with a check that turned out to be fraudulent. The fraud was reported to police on Thursday morning. Total loss is the case has been estimated at $1,795.

Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle. Christopher Roberts said his 2002 Jeep Liberty, white in color with a 60 day temporary tag, was stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday from his home in the 1200 block of Stack. Roberts said the keys to the vehicle were taken from inside the home. Total value of the jeep is listed at $5,000.

Several tools are stolen from a home construction site. Central Remodeling of Salina says that tools including nail guns, a compressor, small ladder, and hand tools, were taken from a job site at 2308 Brookfield Court sometime between February 19th and February 22nd. Total loss has been estimated at $2,585.
