The Salina Police Department is investigating a Tuesday morning stabbing incident.
According to a release from Captain Mike Sweeney, officers were sent to Salina Regional Health Center just before 12 p.m. in reference a to stabbing. Upon arrival, officers met with a male in his 40s that was suffering from multiple non-life threatening stab wounds.
Sweeney said the stabbing was the result of an earlier disturbance at a location on West Republic and there is a known suspect.
No further details have been released.
More information is expected at a later time, according to Sweeney.
