The Saline County Sheriff’s Office has taken a report of a residential burglary that occurred Tuesday at a rural Saline County home.

Undersheriff Roger Soldan said there was no forced entry into the home of Melana Sandquist in the 5300 block of S. Fairchilds Road between 9:30a.m. and 4:30p.m. Tuesday.

Taken was a jewelry box with jewelry including a pendant, necklaces, earrings, a gold heart ring with a ruby, a Hillcrest High School class ring, and a KU Timex watch.

Total loss is listed at $1,600.
