DICKINSON COUNTY – One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Dickinson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Henry A. Diehl, 64, Brookville, was eastbound on Aspen Road a mile northeast of Niles.

The pickup struck a 2006 Honda Civic driven by Francine J. Climer, 49, Columbus, GA., that attempted to make a left turn into a field entrance.

Climer was transported to Salina Regional Health Center. Diehl was not transported for treatment.

Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
