A Salina man has his car stolen from along Interstate 135 early Sunday morning. Samuel Johannes said he left his 2010 Chevrolet Camaro on the shoulder of the highway after getting a flat tire about 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning. When he returned around 4:20 a.m., the car was gone. The car is silver in color, with black racing stripes, black 20″ wheels, and a American flag sticker on the top left of rear window with 1320 video. The license plate number is Kansas 492-JUB. The keys were not with the car. Total loss is listed at $17,000.

Salina Police have a known suspect in a case where an elderly man’s credit card was used 70 times to make mostly online purchases without permission. The credit card of 85-year-old Robert Bachofer was used between April 1st and June 10th. The purchases totaled nearly $16,000.

A woman reports damage to a garage door. Donna Sinnett said the door was damaged between Saturday evening and Sunday morning at 516 E. Prescott. It appears a vehicle ran into the door. Total damage has been estimated at $500.

Police are looking for a known suspect that threatened three people with a knife early Sunday morning in south Salina. Two men and a woman were in the parking lot of the Chapel Ridge Apartments, 2363 Chapel Ridge, about 2:21 a.m. to pick up another woman. A man approached them and told them to leave the area and he displayed a knife. The three left and called police.

Salina Police are reviewing security video after two women took an electric guitar Saturday afternoon from S.M. Hanson Music, 335 S. Clark. The two women took a Taylor cut away electric Sunburst guitar valued at $3,778. One suspect was described as a tall woman with dark hair with purple streaks, wearing a blue plaid shirt, black pants, and yellow socks. She also had numerous tattoos on both arms. The other woman was described as being short with strawberry blonde hair, wearing a white tank top, and a long flowery peach colored skirt.
