RENO COUNTY — A Kansas man arrested on June 3 for allegedly firing a weapon near a woman at a home in Hutchinson has been formally charged.
Majesty “Magic” Wade, 21, Hutchinson, had allegedly threatened a local woman with a handgun, pointing it at her, then allegedly firing a shot into the ground near where she was standing at a residence in the 2900 block of East 4th Street in Hutchinson.
When police arrived, Wade had left the scene, but was located in the area at 8th & Maple Street and arrested on numerous warrants, as well as the new charge.
Last week the judge raised his bond from $5,000 to $25,000 due to a weapon being involved.
In court on Tuesday he again asked for a reduction, which was denied.
Wade is also currently facing charges for felony criminal damage from October of 2015.
