Salina Police have arrested a 21-year-old woman for felony theft after she was caught shoplifting from a Salina business Wednesday afternoon.

Captain Mike Sweeney said Tyler L. Capps was taken into custody for allegedly taking more than 1,700 pieces of jewelry, crafts, wearable art, and floral pieces from Hobby Lobby, 2450 S. 9th, between 4:45 p.m. and 6:05 p.m.

Sweeney said all the merchandise, which was valued at $7,142, was recovered.
