MCPHERSON COUNTY – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 9 a.m. on Thursday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford F-150 driven by Agnar S. Regier, 77, McPherson, was stopped at the stop sign northbound on 19th Avenue and continued northbound across U.S. 56, and struck a 1999 Chevy Silverado driven by Michael S. Nelson, 42, Hillsboro, that was westbound on U.S. 56.
The Chevy veered to the right and struck a 2009 Ford F-150 driven by Chad C. Koehn, 42, Galva, that was stopped at the stop sign southbound on 19th Avenue.
Regier was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Nelson and Koehn were not injured.
Regier and Koehn were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
