Introducing Heather Livingston, your BANK VI Hero of the Week!

Heather was nominated for the outstanding work she does for Heartland Programs, a non-profit organization ran by Salina USD 305 designed to give small children an early head start on their education.

Heather currently serves as a family consultant for the Parents as Teachers program at Heartland, which assists children from birth to the age of 3.

One of Heather’s primary functions is scheduling and conducting home visits with families with a focus on getting their children ready to start school. She helps with the socialization families to assist them with connecting with other families.

Working with children is Heather’s passion and those close to her say she is amazing with them. “She pays attention to the details of her job and goes the extra mile for every child,” said her nominator. “She has a very big heart and always tries to find the good in every situation and stays positive.”
