Weather is to blame for a semi-truck accident near Grainfield in Gove County Saturday night.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Roy Leo Baumgarden of Shell Knob, Missouri was traveling westbound on I-70, when around 9:35 pm, weather conditions caused him to lose control of his 2000 Peterbilt.

Baumgarden entered the north ditch and his semi-truck rolled onto its right side.

Baumgarden was taken to Logan County Medical Center in Oakley to be examined for possible injury. No further information was released.
