Mattress retailer Select Comfort will open a Sleep Number store in Salina later this fall.

Select Comfort Public Relations Manager Sarah Reckard tells The Salina Post that the Minnesota-based company will open a store at Salina Square, a strip plaza that is currently under construction on the southeast corner of 9th & Schilling.

Reckard said the new store would be a 2,500 square foot facility located in Suite C of the strip plaza at 3015 S. 9th.

According to Saline County records, the new store is being built at a cost of $45,000.

Sleep Number will join Five Guys Burgers & Fries at Salina Square, which was announced as the primary tennant of the plaza when construction began in June.

Five Guys is also expected to open later this fall.
