Salina Police are investigating after a female burglar pushes her way into a central Salina apartment Thursday afternoon.

Police Captain Chris Trocheck tells The Salina Post the woman knocked on the door of an apartment at 500 E. Crawford and forced her way through when the female occupant opened the door.

Once inside, the suspect allegedly took $350 in cash and approximately $300 worth of clothing and other miscellaneous items.

There were no injuries in the burglary, which occurred at about 12:30 p.m.

Trocheck said police are actively searching for the woman, who is a known suspect.
