The Southeast of Saline Lady Trojans varsity volleyball was swept at Beloit on Tuesday.

Southeast was defeated by Beloit 9-25, 25-22 and 16-25 in their first match and 17-25 and 16-25 in their second match.

Leading contributors for the Lady Trojans were:

• Morgan Thaxton: 6 kills, 3 solo blocks,
• Kendall Schlesener: 8 kills, 13 assists, 4 assisted blocks.
• Kallie Albrecht: 9 digs,
• Karis Calahan: 4 kills, 2 aces, 10 digs.
• Taylor Wells: 11 kills, 2 aces, 10 digs, 1 solo block. 1 assisted block
• Kylee Thaxton: 6 kills, 1 solo block
• Carter Brull: 15 assists, 3 aces.

Southeast of Saline is now 12-10 overall and 4-4 in league play.

The junior varsity team was also swept, losing 14-25 and 17-25 in their first match and 14-25 and 19-25 in their second match.

The Lady Trojans C-Team was also swept, losing 18-25 and 13-25 in their first match and 16-25 and 12-25 in their second match.

Southeast will next travel to Concordia to take on the Lady Panthers this Saturday with matches beginning at 9 a.m.
