For the second time this month police are investigating the theft of a moped from a Salina home.
Captain Paul Forrester said a moped owned by 55-year-old Kenneth Reid was taken from the yard of his home in the 800 block of State Street, sometime between September 1st and Wednesday.
The stolen moped is a red, 1982 Honda Suburban valued at $150.
Forrester said the moped did not have a key with it and was not running at the time it was stolen.
Earlier this week, police also took a report of moped stolen from a home in the 900 block of E. Ash, sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday.
That moped, owned by Michael Trent, was a lime green, 2014 Bronc Rally valued at $500. It also did not run and did not have a key with it.
Police also took reports of two stolen mopeds in the month of August.
