Salina Police are investigating two separate cases of stolen bicycles.
Captain Mike Sweeney said someone took three bicycles owned by 54-year-old Donetta Brown from a yard in the 600 block of S. 9th, sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.
The bikes taken were a black Schwinn with monkey bar handle bars valued at $75, a blue Schwinn 3-speed valued at $75, and a blue and silver Next 21-speed valued at $150. Thieves cut a lock to gain access to the bikes.
Sweeney said a white Biria easy board lite 8 bicycle owned by 76-year-old Patricia Mitchell was taken from her garage in the 1200 block of E. Republic, sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
There were no signs of forced entry to the garage.
The bike is valued at $900.
