Salina Police are investigating damage to a vehicle in a central Salina neighborhood.

Captain Mike Sweeney said someone left a 6-foot long scratch across the passenger side doors of a 2007 Toyota Camry owned by 59-year-old John Schmutz, while it was parked outside his home in the 1700 block of Lewis.

The damage occurred sometime betweeen 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Damage to the car has been estimated at $500, according to Sweeney.
