Salina Police are investigating the burglary of a workshop.

Captain Mike Sweeney said someone forced their way through a door to gain entry to the building located at 900 N. Santa Fe, sometime between 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday.

Items taken from the workshop included a blue 1000 watt Yamaha generator, a black Streamline flashlight, a Snap-on battery powered impact wrench, and $1,500 worth of miscellaneous tools in a plastic tool box.

Sweeney said the total value of the stolen items has been estimated at $3,650.
