Ellsworth Co. fugitive wanted on child sex charge arrested in Utah

ELLSWORTH COUNTY— Deputies in Cache County Utah arrested a federal fugitive from Kansas on Saturday, October 8.

Allen Eugene Lemley, 54, was camping in a Utah Canyon in an RV when deputies found him, according to the Cache County Sheriff’s Department.

He was wanted in Ellsworth County Kansas for sexual assault on a child.

They issued a warrant for his arrest in May of 2015.

Compared to the wanted poster, Lemley had been coloring his hair to change his appearance.

screen-shot-2016-10-16-at-6-47-38-pmLemley was arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail and charged with one count of forgery and false identification.

He was returned to Kansas last week.

On Friday October 14, Lemley was booked in the Ellsworth County jail.

He is expected to make a first court appearance this week.
