Salina Police say someone stole a dog from the yard of a south Salina yard.

Captain Mike Sweeney said a four month old German Shepherd puppy was taken from the backyard of a home in the 3300 block of Marcella Drive.

The puppy is owned by Yesenia Perales.

Sweeney said the puppy was taken sometime between 4 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
