
A chase of a stolen car from Morris County that began in Dickinson County, ended south of Salina early Monday morning with the arrest of the driver on outstanding warrants from the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Saline County Undersheriff Roger Soldan said around 3 a.m. a pursuit of a stolen Camaro was entering Saline County on Magnolia Road. The chase turned onto Cunningham Road to K-4 Highway, where the car went westbound.
A Saline County Sheriff’s Deputy set out tire spikes at K-4 and Old 81 Highway, that the Camaro went over before going north on 81. The driver got out of the car and ran east about a mile north of the K-4/81 intersection near McReynolds Road. He was apprehended after twisting his ankle.
45-year-old Steven Fuller was taken to the Saline County Jail to be held on the KDOC warrant. It is likely he will charged in Dickinson County in connection with the pursuit.
