Police arrest a Salina man on several counts of theft and forgery.

Captain Mike Sweeney said 22-year-old Trevon Tucker was arrested at the Money Zone, 1819 S. Broadway late Monday morning trying to cash a check belonging to Joshua Perez of Salina. Between October 20th, and November 10th Tucker cashed seven checks on the account of Perez at Money Zone and another at the Rose Hill Bank totaling $3,300.

Tucker made the checks out to himself. Neither man knows each other, and it’s not known how Tucker was able to get the checks.
