The Salina Police Department will be joining other law enforcement agencies across the state increasing patrols during the Thanksgiving holiday week looking for violators of traffic laws.

From Monday November 21st to Sunday November 27th additional officers will be looking for violations of adult and child occupant restraint, and DUI enforcement, especially Wednesday night through Saturday night.

The funding for the overtime for officers is provided by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
