Much colder air on the way

12-3-wxAbove normal temperatures will start the week, but much colder air will invade the area on Tuesday and persist through the end of the week. Temperatures on both Wednesday and Thursday will be 10-15 degrees below normal.

Today: A chance of snow before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow between 10am and 11am, then a chance of rain after 11am. Cloudy, with a high near 41. East northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight: Rain and snow likely before 1am, then a chance of rain between 1am and 3am, then a chance of rain and snow after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 30. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 50. West northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. South wind 5 to 7 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. South wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
