A man trying to pass a fraudulent check at a bank drive-thru early Tuesday evening is arrested on requested charges of forgery and theft.
Police were sent to the Sunflower Bank, 176 N. Santa Fe, about 5:20pm on a report of a man trying to cash a computer generated check. They found 45-year-old Calvin R. Stewart allegedly tried to cash a check from Koch Lawn and Landscaping in the amount of $735.67.
Bank employees called police and Stewart was arrested.
