Police investigating a reported case of aggravated robbery and burglary at a north Salina motel room early Saturday evening.

Captain Mike Sweeney said the victim, a man in his 40s reports a black male and Hispanic male knocked on the door of his room at the Airliner Motel, 781 N. Broadway between 5-6pm Saturday evening. After knocking, the two forced their way into the room, beat the man and took his $450 cell phone and a undisclosed amount of cash. The man said another 7-10 people entered his room before leaving.

Another man who was in the room at the time was not hurt.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of cuts and scrapes.
