Clara Marie Sack, 94, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at St. John’s Healthcare Center in Hays.  She was born June 15, 1917 in Hyacinth, to Frank and Maria (Weigel) Brungardt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 11 brothers and sisters, and 1 grandson.

Clara is survived by her children; Norman (Joy) Sack of Green Valley, AZ, Sharon (Rolland) Zier, of Salina, and Roy Sack of Hays, KS; as well as 7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen and there will not be any visitation.  A memorial mass will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. John’s Health Care or the Alzheimer’s Association.  Contributions may be sent in care of  Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, KS 67401.
