Celebrate Kansas’ sesquicentennial by traveling the state at
the Smoky Hill Museum.
In the Museum’s upcoming exhibit, Crisscrossing Kansas, opening August 23 and going through February 2, 2012, visitors will have an opportunity to learn a little more about what makes Kansas unique and, quite frankly, a wonderful place to explore and enjoy.
Broken into six regions, this exhibit presents some of the highlights of Kansas and gives you the tools to plan a staycation.
Ever seen the Badlands or taken in a little African safari history? How about toured through some ghostly mansions, spent time at Z-bar Ranch, or viewed the splendor of the wetlands? Believe it or not, these are all right here in the State of Kansas. So, whether you already love Kansas or need a little convincing, this exhibit is sure to create a sense of appreciation for what this state has to offer.
The Smoky Hill Museum is a nationally accredited history
