A 31-year-old man has died after being found beaten near Manhattan’s bar and entertainment district.

Riley County police identified the victim as Kevin Lynn Cockrum of Manhattan.

Capt. Jeff Hooper says officers found Cockrum beaten and unconscious in an alley early Thursday and that he died Friday morning at a Wichita hospital.

Hooper said Riley County police have been looking for three possible suspects seen in the area in a white vehicle around the time of the attack.
