A Quinter woman was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash 1 mile south of the Quinter.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a pickup truck failed to yield the right of way at road 64 and county road Y in Gove County. The truck struck a car driven by 71-year-old Anna Marie Whiteman. Whiteman died from her injuries.

The driver of the truck, Joseph Waldman of Park, Kansas, was taken to Gove County Medical Center with injuries. His condition has not been released.
