There was more damage to the glass the door, than the value of merchandise taken in a snatch and grab of a liquor store early Monday morning.

Salina Police responded to Brooks Liquor at 1845 S. 9th just after 1:30 am and found the glass broke in the door. In a review of video, Two men in a silver 4 door passenger car took a 12-pack of beer and a 1 liter bottle of vodka.

Value of the booze taken was $29, damage to the door $200.

Video of the break-in will be available to the public later Monday.
