According to a release by Fort Hays State University; on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 8:11 p.m. a call was dispatched to the Fort Hays State University Police Department concerning a reported rape which occurred adjacent to the McMindes Hall parking lot, 410 Agnew Lane.

Responding officers interviewed the victim and later transported her to the Hays Medical Center for treatment and a sane/start examination.

The victim described her unknown assailant as a black male, 5’8” to 5’9”, medium build, wearing a ski mask and a black hoodie, with black pants.

The rape is being investigated by the Fort Hays State University Police Department and the (KBI) Kansas Bureau of Investigations. The police are asking that anyone with information about this incident please contact the Fort Hays State University Police at (785) 628-5304.
