AT&T says it’s adding about 100 jobs in Kansas, with most of them to be based in the Kansas City metro area.
AT&T Kansas president Steve Hahn made the announcement Monday at a work center in Olathe (oh-LAY’-thuh), the seat of Johnson County. Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback was on hand for the event.
The company says in a news release the hirings are driven mainly by expansion of its U-verse television, voice and broadband Internet service. Most of the new employees will be installers of the service.
Hahn called Kansas a growth area for AT&T.
