A Minnesota company reports the theft of copper wire from a mobile piece of oil field equipment.

Fergus Power Pump of Fergus Falls Minnesota says the wire was taken from a centrifuge on a semi trailer while it was parked at Walker Centrifuge at 516 Graves Blvd between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The centrifuge is used to separate mud from water in oil fields.

200 feet of copper wire was removed.

Value of the wire placed at $5,900.
