On Wednesday evening at 8:30, deputies were called to the 4700 block of Pleasant Hill Rd to investigate a domestic dispute.

Sheriff Roger Soldan told The Salina Post that a female was on the phone when an argument started with a male at the residence. She put the phone down and the argument became violent. The male allegedly pointed a gun at her, threatened to shoot her, and held her against her will.

The person on the phone heard the argument and contacted the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Robert Brown, 66, and he is facing possible charges of domestic battery, criminal restraint, criminal threat, and aggravated assault.

The woman did not sustain any injuries.
