SALINE COUNTY— Tuesday’ storm that brought hail and high winds across the state also provided substantial rainfall to Salina and central Kansas.
Residents in Saline County reported rainfall amounts from .25 to 1.60 inches of moisture over the past 24 hours. In Dickinson County, residents reported from .29 to 1.35 inches of rain.
Residents in central McPherson County received 2.40 inches of moisture. Other areas of McPherson County reported just more than an inch of rain.
An inch and a half of rain was reported in northwest Ottawa County.
There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
