Eleanor Lea Thompson, 95, Salina, formerly of Dodge City, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She was born January 18, 1923 on a farm in Stafford County, Kansas.

She worked for the Soil Conservationist Office in Dodge City as an office clerk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lee and Laura Ethel (Webring) Brock, Eleanor’s beloved husband of 59 years Howard D. Thompson, her granddaughter Amy Amigoni Kline and Eleanor’s sister Marie Hammitt and Vera Stauth.

Survivors include her children, Fred D. Thompson, Sharral A. Allen, Barbara L. Heeding, Iris E. Kline, Brock H. Thompson, Tamara S. Watts; and sister, Doneva Lubbers, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina.
