Because of an abundance of cats and kittens, the Salina Animal Shelter is having a Name Your Price special on all felines housed at the shelter.

According to information from Salina Animal Services, the shelter has more than 40 cats and kittens available to adopt and is running out of kennels.

The special will run through close of business Saturday. The shelter is open until 5:30 p.m. today and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is located at 329 N. Second.

According to information from the shelter, all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea treated, wormed, negative for FIV/FeLV and been started on vaccines.
