A burglary in west-central Salina Tuesday morning resulted in the loss of more than $1,300 worth of items.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said this morning that sometime between 11-11:45 a.m Tuesday, someone broke into a home in the 600 block of Montrose. When the resident returned to the home, she noticed that the back door had been forced open and she called police. Items taken included two 55-inch Samsung televisions worth $1,200, two iPhone television adapters worth $100, and an HDMI cord worth $20, Sweeney said.
Additionally, there was $150 in damage to the door, he added.
