A 34-year-old Salina man winds up in jail after he was seen leaving a business that had been broke into early Sunday morning.

Police arrested Jesse Garman of 1219 Kingston Drive in his car after a witness saw the car driving away from Leprechaun Lawn and Trees at 1501 S. 9th , about 2:20 am.

Garman allegedly broke a window at the business and stole two Echo chainsaws from the business.

The chainsaws were found in the car with Garman was also driving under the influence with an open whiskey bottle in the car.

A small amount of marijuana was also found in the car.

Garman was charged with burglary, theft, damage to property, possession of marijuana, and D.U.I .
