Hot & Windy

Today: Sunny, with a high near 94. Breezy, with a south wind 7 to 10 mph increasing to between 17 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 56. South wind between 10 and 13 mph.

The Kansas Neighborhood is still in for hotter weather on Tuesday as south winds gradually increase to between 20 and 30 mph…thereby enabling highs to reach 85-90 degrees in most areas with the hotter temperatures in the central third of Kansas.

This will pose an elevated fire danger for most of the southwest half of Kansas.

Thunderstorms may pay their 1st visit to the Kansas Neighborhood next weekend since September 17th & 18th. The better chances would occur over the western half of the Kansas region that would include Central and much of South-Central Kansas.
